California Waterfowl Association (CWA) Butte Creek and Sanbourn Slough
There is a tremendous cost associate with the operation of these properties and to help support the program, we proudly provide the heavy equipment cost and labor for their habitat management. Along with the disking, mowing we do, we pay for many of the expenses related to water, mosquito abatement, electricity and other cost through our continuous financial contributions specifically for these properties. With the recent acquisitions of these properties, CWA members have an opportunity to hunt in the famous Butte Sink and we are proud to be a part of making this program possible
CWA Private Hunt Program
We proudly support California Waterfowl Association’s (CWA) Private Hunt Program and have hosted numerous of hunters on our property throughout the years. With limited waterfowl hunting opportunities, CWA continues to help fill the void through ensuring access to public hunting lands and providing access to private hunting lands. Working with private land owners, each year they have created hundreds of hunting opportunities for the membership.
CWA Lower Klamath Water
We have made a large financial contribution to CWA’s efforts to purchase multi-year water rights for the Lower Klamath Wildlife Refuge and we are committed to continuing to assist in making this a permanent acquisition.

California Department of Fish and Wildlife
We continue to work closely with the talented staff at the Upper Butte Sunk Wildlife Basin. The staff has done an incredible job managing the wildlife areas and we are proud to work with them resulting in more duckling hatches and natural food for our waterfowl friends
